This is to inform you of a change to the AAIMS executive members positions today.
Dr Jan Ali, who was formerly Vice-President of AAIMS, will fill the role of President left vacant by Associate Professor Zuleyha Keskin, who stood down from the role. Zuleyha moves to the Vice-President role.
We thank Zuleyha for her dedicated leadership as President over the past few years. She organised national conferences, workshops, and webinars that provided a platform for collaboration of academics in the field of Islam and Muslim studies and opportunities for development of students and early career researchers. We are fortunate to receive ongoing support from her in the role of Vice-President.
We welcome Jan to his new role and look forward to his guidance and direction in ensuring that AAIMS continues to provide benefits for its members and the academic community.
